Camping del Forte is located in Marina di Bibbona, in the province of Livorno,400 metres from the beaches which can be reached walking through the shaded paths crossing the pine forest. It is a quiet site, designed for leisure, lively during the day and quiet at night and in the resting time. The regular customers who have frequented it for years, come with grandparents, parents, children and friends, gathered to enjoy a happy and carefree holiday outdoors.
Special care has been devoted to the creation of entertainment facilities. A solarium terrace surrounds the large pool that includes two interconnecting pools: the first, of 300 square meters, for adults and the second, 50sqm,for children. In the center of the camp site, a raised platform, designed for dance, baby dance and various events, divides the area of the bowls from the children's playground, where the equipment for "safe" play is placed. A terrace, shaded by pine trees and frequented by young people, divides the pool area from the bar and from the dining room of the restaurant - pizzeria. Along a pedestrian tunnel, you enter the bazaar,the mini-market, the greengrocer's and the bar, located on the opposite side.
The restaurant provides breakfast, half board, full board and takeaway menu. At the bar, you can connect to free Internet with Wi-Fi access and a wide-screen TV is available to guests from 8 a.m to 11 p.m. A recreation room with billiards and table tennis is open until 11 p.m. and to the side lies a covered space that houses the mini club and other entertainment activities. Five minutes from the campsite has been prepared a football field available to adults and children.
The beach is nearby, open and free, and extends for over 16 km from Marina di Bibbona, south towards Donoratico and north towards Cecina . The sea is one of the most beautiful in Italy. Marina di Bibbona has been awarded the Blue Flag, that marks the seaside resorts with uncontaminated sea. A video surveillance service is operational 24 hours a day. All spaces designed for tents, caravans and campers are placed in the lawn and have a connection to the electricity grid. For many it is provided the connection to the water supply with drinking fountains placed at the tent sites that do not include car parking, which are in neighboring areas specially numbered and shaded.
There are three groups of toilets at north, south and west of the campsite. Two of these have cabins for individual use inclusive of toilet, washbasin and shower. Here are installed washing machines, dryers and the unloading of chemical toilets for campers, while the bathrooms for disabled people are located in the group of services to the west. The hot water supply is free of charge. Throughout the area of the camp are distributed 10 sets of sinks and laundries as well as screened spaces for barbecue.
